Travel
Weddings 30 Minutes away or less, no travel fee. Weddings that are 31 minutes - 1 hour away, the travel fee is $80 per team member. Weddings that are over 1 hour to 2 hours away are $135 per team member. Weddings that are over 2 hours away or more; the travel fee is $1/mile to the venue per team member and the person named on this contract will be charged $200 Hotel Fee to cover a one night stay, for the night prior the Wedding. (The team members would share one room) This amount will be charged to the card on file 2 months before the wedding date. For out of state/country weddings: All expenses must be paid for travel; including but not limited to; gas, meals, flights, hotel stay, car rental etc. All fee’s are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-removable.(Toll and parking charges extra as applicable)
Terms and Conditions
BOOKINGS: To secure a date; this signed contract, any additional artist/stylist fee(s) and your quoted deposit are required at the time of booking. These fee’s and this deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, and non-removable. As explained in your quote, a portion of this deposit will be put toward the Bridal Trial or Services (if she elected to not do a trial appointment), if you’re having any additional artist(s)/stylist(s), and the $100 Reserve/Secure Your Date Fee. The remaining balance will be due one week prior to your Wedding Date. If the client chooses not to book after the trail session, the deposit and additional artist fees will not be refunded. This deposit must paid through our website ( mymagicalmoments.net/deposit ). A 3.6% credit/debit card processing fee will be charged to the client.
TRIAL / CONSULTATIONS: Consultations/Trials are available for brides as well as their bridal party members, including but not limited to: bridesmaids, mothers of the bride, etc. We recommend that additional consultations/trials should be scheduled on the same day as the bride’s consultation in order to avoid an additional travel fee (if the stylist is traveling to you.) This does not apply to those traveling to us for their trial.
LIABILITY: All brushes, tools, and products are sanitized between every styling application. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the styling artist prior to application.
DELAYS: We will create a schedule for the day, and will send this by email or text to the Bride for review 1 month prior to the wedding date. If only booking with us for one type of service, we can/will work with your makeup artist or stylist in coordinating the schedule. The list of girls receiving services is due three months before your wedding date. Please include their first name & all services needed. A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time on the wedding date, or if the scheduled makeup application or hair style exceeds the allotted time due to client delays.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Styling will be completed to the client’s satisfaction, and acceptance of the completed styling application is acknowledgement by the client that the styling is done to the client’s satisfaction.
PARKING FEES: Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred. The bride will be informed of this/these amounts and will be due on the day of the event. This will be charged to the card on file, if not paid directly to the team members providing services before their departure.
TRAVEL FEES: Weddings 30 Minutes away or less, no travel fee. Weddings that are 31 minutes - 1 hour away, the travel fee is $80 per team member. Weddings that are over 1 hour to 2 hours away are $135 per team member. Weddings that are over 2 hours away or more; the travel fee is $1/mile to the venue per team member, and the person named on this contract will be charged $200 Hotel Fee to cover a one night stay, for the night prior the Wedding. This amount will be charged to the card on file 2 months before the wedding date. For out of state/country weddings: All expenses must be paid for travel; including but not limited to; gas, meals, flights, hotel stay, car rental etc. (Toll and parking charges extra as applicable) All fee’s are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-removable. Travel fees apply for all pre-event styling consultations as well as day-of appointments, unless you travel to the Stylist/Makeup Artist.
SERVICE MINIMUMS: Our total that we require to meet our minimum amount of services on a wedding day is 5 services for one team member, 10 services for two team members, 15 services for three team members, and 20 services for 4 Team Members. OR if you want more Team Members for a specific timeline on your Wedding Date, but don’t meet the minimum amount requirement in services for that amount of Team Members, we are happy to provide additional Team Members for an increase in price per service, and an additional fee ranging from $50-$250, depending on the amount of services you need, per Team Member.
Early Start Fees: If we arrive to set up by 8:30am, this is included in our pricing. If we need to arrive between 7:00am-8:29am, there is a $75 fee, per team member. If we need to arrive earlier than 7:00am, there is a $100 fee, per team member.
Wedding on a Holiday or Holiday Weekend Fee: If your Wedding date is on an actual Holiday or Holiday Weekend, this incurs a fee of $150.
PAYMENT: The final balance is due two weeks prior to the event date. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) whose name(s) appear on this contract. If there are any services unpaid the day of the event, the remaining balance will be charged to the card on file. All payments must be paid through our website ( mymagicalmoments.net ) or Venmo ( @HairMagicByNicole ), this is the Owner, Nicole Johnson’s Venmo account. All payments made through our website will incur a 3.6% card processing fee.
SOCIAL MEDIA & WEBSITE: Photos taken at the trial or your professional photos may be used as examples of my work for future clients to view. Your photographer will receive proper credit for their work. You agree to me using these photos, as well as give consent to using your professional photos on my website/portfolio/social media. I will email you to request these photos and will also reach out to your photographer.
SERVICE LOCATION & REQUIREMENTS: The location of styling services for the day-of-event will be at the Bride’s discretion, but there are certain requirements the artist will need to complete the services. A set-up table/work area/chair/trashcan/outlet. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. Artist will arrive 15 minutes prior to the set appointment time. Please communicate the hotel room number if applicable by text.
DROP SERVICES POLICY: 183 days (6 months) before the wedding date, the final number of services must be confirmed. It is the bride and/or person signing this contract's responsibility to contact My Magical Moments via email or phone call with this information. If any service(s) are to be dropped, this must be done 184 days or more prior to the wedding date or earlier, to avoid drop service fee's. If services are dropped between 90-183 days prior to the wedding date, a fee in the amount of 50% of the total services dropped will be charged to the card on file. If services are dropped between 0-89 days prior to the wedding date, 100% of the amount of the services dropped will be charged to the card on file.
CANCELLATION/REDUCTION IN SERVICES POLICY: Your booking is a reserved spot. If you decide to cancel your wedding day services, you will not receive a refund of your deposit. If you cancel within 183-250 days before your wedding date, you will not receive back the deposit and you will be charged 50% of the total scheduled services as a cancellation fee. If you cancel within 90-183 days of your wedding date, you will not receive back the deposit and you will be charged 75% of the total scheduled services as a cancellation fee. If you cancel within 0-89 days of your wedding date, you will not receive back the deposit and be charged 100% of the scheduled services as a cancelation fee, this will be charged to the card on file. All cancellations must be communicated in written form either by email or text. If you choose to reduce the number of services, we require a minimum of 184 days of notice.
IF A TEAM MEMBER HAS AN EMERGENCY OR BECOMES ILL: Our first step is to send a different Team Member to take their place, and provide the services for your Wedding date. We have very skilled back-up Team members who fill-in, in these scenarios. If no one is available (this has never happened before, but just incase) then at that point, we would refund the Remaining balance that was paid 2 weeks prior to the Wedding. The initial deposit is non-refundable as stated in this contract, so the amount you paid at booking, will not be refunded in this situation, only the remaining balance that was paid 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. You cannot chose to receive a refund if your team member(s) become ill or have an emergency, as stated above, our first step is to replace the team member(s) for your date. This is ONLY the last resort option, if no other team member(s) are available. We will contact you if this is the case.
